Nestled in the embracement of Himalayas, Amarnath Yatra Tourism is lauded for its holy caves that homes the image of Lord Shiva is formed naturally by the ice. Unknown to them a pair of mating pigeons eavesdropped on this conversation and learned the secret of rebirth. Since then they have made the cave their eternal abode by taking birth again and again. Many pilgrims have reported seeing the pigeon pair while trekking to the caves, adding the surprise element to Amarnath Yatra.


Amarnath is all about holy sites, so the foremost destination to visit in Amarnath is the Amarnathji caves. The ice Shiva Linga that sits here wanes and waxes depending on the moon cycle and reaches maximum height form May to August. Apart from this the other places to visit in Amarnath include Sheshnag Lake. This lake is situated at a height of 3658m form sea level due to which it remains covered in ice till June. Pahalgam here is another place where the pilgrims prefer to take a halt while on their way to Amarnath caves. Baltal, Panjtarni, Chandan wari and Pissu top are some other tourist places to visit in Amarnath. Thus every Hindu pilgrim should once in a lifetime surely visit Amarnath to experience the sanctity of the place.
