Vaishno Devi: The Holy Abode of Mother Goddess

Perched on the wild peaks of Trikuta Hills is the sacred shrine of Goddess Vaishno Devi. It is a 30m long cave with a height of 1.5m. It is believed that Goddess Vaishno Devi, while on her way to holy cave created this river with an arrow, hence the name Banganga.
