BengaluruBengaluru: The Silicon Valley of India

Bengaluru is best described as a technologically natural city because the city is blessed by both natural and man-made marvels. Popularly called as the powerful information technology hub of India, Bengaluru gracefully retains its charm of quaintness. It is the capital of Karnataka and experiences pleasant weather around the year. Presumably Bengaluru was established in the year in 1537 by Kempegowda I who established it as a province of his Viajaynagar kingdom. He strengthened the city by building forts using poor quality of building material. Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore later annexed the land and rectified the forts. After the defeat of Tipu Sultan, British annexed the area and shifted the headquarters of regional administration here from Tipu’s capital Srirangapatnam in 1831. All these interesting features and episodic events add to the beauty of Bengaluru Tourism.

Bull temple in Bengaluru is a 16th century temple built by Kempegowda. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva's vehicle Nandi and is visited by innumerable pilgrims every day. Cubbon Park which is called as the ‘green lungs of Bengaluru’ is worth visiting. Spread in 120 hectare, Park was laid in 1864. It has a fountain, a bandstand and is surrounded by government buildings. Other Bengaluru travel attractions include Lal Bagh Garden, Kempegowda Fort, Bengaluru Palace, ISKCON Temple and Jama Masjid. So, travelers must explore Bengaluru to unmask the modern, classic and stylish side of India.
